Low-calorie, cereal-free food specially designed for donkeys Feeding a donkey is not always easy. That's why Saracen has specially developed this cereal-free pellet for donkeys. The recipe contains a minimum of calories and protein and a maximum of fibre. A donkey is not a horse Donkeys are quick to react badly to excessive nutrients. But sometimes they just need a little extra nutrients to stay healthy and in good condition (e.g. old age, illness, stress, etc.).

*Donkeys should eat 1.5% of their bodyweight as total dry matter for maintenance (forage and concentrate). At least 75% of this total ration should consist of a clean forage source.

E.g. a 200 kg donkey would be fed 2.25 kg forage and 0.75 kg Donkey Diet.
