Safe & Sound

Safe & Sound has been developed on the basis of scientific research into laminitis. It contains high nutritional values that promote general health, hoof health and mobility. Safe & Sound is highly palatable and can be fed all year round. Why does Safe & Sound contain molasses? A small amount of sugar syrup is added to the product to enhance the smell and taste and to ensure that each scoop contains approximately the same amount of feed. Is it harmful to my horse? It is not harmful. The total sugar content of Safe & Sound is only 5%*, making it suitable for horses and ponies prone to laminitis. *Sugar intake is 0.15 g/kg bodyweight for a 500 kg horse. Is Safe & Sound a complete feed? Yes, it contains effective amounts of biotin, MSM has been added and it also contains herbs that are also found in Lami-Free: nettle, rosehip, seaweed and garlic.
