Based on laminitis research, Safe & Sound contains the highest specification nutrition to support health, hoof quality and mobility, is highly palatable and can be used all year round.
Why is molasses included?
A very small amount of diluted sugar syrup is included for aroma, taste and to ensure consistency in every scoop.
Is this harmful to your horse?
No! The total sugar content in Safe & Sound is only 5%*, making the feed suitable for those prone to laminitis.
*sugar intake of 0.15g/kg body weight for a 500kg horse.
Is Safe & Sound a complete feed?
Yes! It contains effective levels of Biotin, has added MSM and includes Lami-Free herbs: nettle, rosehip, seaweed and garlic.
